Mailkit Cleaning Services Sdn. Bhd. (“Mailkit”, “we”, “us”) operates the website mailkit.my and provides cleaning services throughout Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.
When you request a quote, book a service or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, service address, property details and anything you include in your message. When you browse the site, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps.
We use your data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, schedule and perform cleaning services, process payments, and maintain records required by Malaysian law. Technical logs help us keep the website secure and understand which pages are useful. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party.
By submitting a form on this site you consent to the processing described here. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected], although withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide services to you.
Access is limited to Mailkit staff who need it to serve you: coordinators, crew leads assigned to your booking, and accounting personnel. Enquiry data that does not lead to a booking is deleted within twelve months. Booking and invoicing records are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations, then securely destroyed.
Data is stored on access-controlled systems with encryption in transit. Crew members never receive more than the address, access notes and service scope needed for a specific job.
