This page explains how mailkit.my uses cookies and browser storage. We keep it deliberately short, because we use deliberately little.

A PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID) is set when you open a page with a form on it. It exists to protect you: it carries the security token that stops other websites from submitting forms in your name. It contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser. Because the site cannot work safely without it, it does not require consent.
When you make a choice in our cookie banner, we record it in your browser’s localStorage under the key mk_consent so we do not ask you again on every visit. This entry stores only the word “yes” or “no” and stays until you clear it.
We currently run no third-party analytics, advertising or social-media cookies on this website. If that changes, this page will be updated first and the consent banner will ask you before any such cookie is set.
